After missing weight yesterday, Ian Entwistle has been withdrawn from tonight’s planned bout with Brett Johns at UFC Fight Night 107 on doctor’s orders hours before the event.
Looking both dazed and gaunt during yesterday’s weigh-ins, many commented on just how bad “Enty” had looked when he had took to the scales and now MMAJunkie have confirmed that doctors have withdrawn the 30-year-old hours before the event.
Entwistle was due to face Welsh rising star Johns in an exciting bantamweight clash in the preliminary portion of tonight’s fight card. Due to the close proximity of the event, finding an opponent for Johns would be out of the questions and the bout has been scrapped all together.
This makes it two consecutive pull-outs for Entwistle now as he also withdrew from a planned bout at UFC 204 with Rob Font due to illness 24 hours before the event.
