The rumour mill has been working overtime today as BAMMA two-division champion Tom Duquesnoy has allegedly been snapped up by the UFC.
Although not confirmed by the Duquesnoy camp, BAMMA or UFC, french website L’Aviner de l’Artois this morning announced that “Fire Kid” had signed with the world’s top MMA promotion and would look to make his debut in April.
The highly rated Frenchman is currently on an 11-fight win streak and has been lighting up both the Featherweight and Bantamweight divisions in BAMMA on his way to claiming both belts.
Most recently he defeated Northern Irishman Alan Philpott via second round submission at BAMMA 27 in Dublin to win the BAMMA Bantamweight title.
The 23-year-old has finished 11 of his 14 victories inside the distance and the future looks increasingly bright for the Jackson-Wink MMA prospect.
