Bellator MMA will return to the state of Michigan for Bellator 124 from the Compuware Arena just outside of Detroit on Friday, September 12th live on Spike TV. The event will be headlined by a Light Heavyweight Title fight as reigning Bellator Champion Emanuel Newton will defend his belt against Joey Beltran.

The night will also feature the Bellator Light Heavyweight Tournament Final between Liam McGeary and Kelly Anundson and a full preliminary card. Tickets for the event can be purchased at the Compuware Arena Box Office, CompuwareArena.com or Bellator.com.

Michigan’s own Ben Lagman will kick-off the Spike.com portion of the night in a fight against Sabah Homasi. After a year of absence from the cage, Lagman is ready to put on an exciting fight for his home state fans, and will face a tough opponent in Homasi, who has recorded five wins by knockout and has tallied two-consecutive wins.

Both looking to maintain their undefeated records, Ben Reiter will meet Shamir Garcia in a middleweight bout. With a 5-0 professional record, Garcia is known for his powerful punching and has recorded four wins by knockout, but will have to hold off Reiter who has grabbed seven of his 14 victories by first round finish.

After falling short in his Bellator debut by decision against Marcos Galvao at Bellator 118, Thomas Vasquez is looking for redemption in his return to the bright lights in a fight against Mike Hernandez. Entering the fight riding a two-fight win streak, Hernandez has recorded five of his victories by knockout and is looking for the finish against Vasquez on September 12th.

Coming off of a first round KO win, Adrian Henderson will put his skills to the test against Michigan’s own Leroy Johnson in front of the Compuware Arena fans. Henderson has recorded three wins by knockout, but will have to take down Johnson, who holds an undefeated professional record.

Making their Bellator debuts, Justin Jaynes and Reuben Baraic will face off in a featherweight battle. With only one professional loss, Baraiac is known for his ability to grind and will face a strong competitor in Jaynes who is looking to finish the fight as quickly as possible.

Closing out the preliminary card will be a battle of Michigan blood as Adrain Hadribeaj makes his professional debut against Mike Hamida and fellow Michigan native Eric Ramirez faces Cortez Phelia in a featherweight bout.
