The Kentish town forum played host to a great night of fights, as Cage Warriors returned to London, England on Saturday evening.
Vincent Del Guerra v Bola Omoyele
In the opening seconds of the main event both fighters jockey for position with Omoyele eventually getting the takedown. While controlling the action on the canvas Omoyele inadvertently pokes Del Guerra in the eye resulting in a temporally halt to the action.
The once given the all clear both fighterscontinue where they left off, but despite being on top, Omoyele allows his French opponent to scramble to his feet and score with some offence of his own. Despite this Omoyele rallies back, dropping his opponent and once on top the ATT fighter lands a series of unanswered elbows, which leads referee Marc Goddard having no choice but to call an end to the fight. The man they call “Cashflow” takes his record to 7-1 with yet another 1st round stoppage.

Patrik Berisha v Robbie Olivier
In the co-main event UKMMA veteran Robbie “The Flame” Olivier made his long awaited Cage Warriors return after a 10-year absence and once again showed fans his excellent grappling skills. As soon as the bell sounded Olivier would successfully score a takedown. This would set the tune for the entire fight with Olivier going on to improve his position mounting his opponent before Berisha was able to scrambles to his feet. Olivier would get the second of many takedowns in this fight and then moved to side control, landing a few elbows before taking Berisha’s back.
It was more of the same in rounds 1 and 2 with Olivier controlling the action throughout with his opponent never coursing him any trouble.
