December 3rd.13: Battle Arena – the UK’s leading amateur mixed martial arts promotion, is proud to announce an international featherweight contest between Mohammed El Yaoubi and Darren Edwards, featuring on the main card when Battle Arena returns to Leicester on February 22nd, 2014.
Fighting out of Boxing Art MMA in France, the Moroccan born Mohammed El Yaoubi will be making the trip to Battle Arena: Leicester as an experienced Muay Thai veteran with a well developed knowledge of the ground game.
Currently undefeated with a pair of victories inside the cage, Avaddon MMA’s Darren Edwards most recently TKO’d Jordan Bower at Battle Arena via ground-and-pound in round 3.
Battle Arena CEO James Price said: “Up and coming explosive featherweight Darren Edwards is taking his first international fight against the well repsected French fighter Mohammed El Yaoubi. Both fighters started their banter and rivarly at the last Battle Arena event in November and this fight has epic written all over it!”
