Applications are flooding in to Contender Promotions as the search is on to find a fightstar in the UK..
Contender Promotions host the kickboxing giant Superkombat World Try-Out UK Series on April 4th in Middlesbrough, UK.
Contender Promotions chief Neil Peacock said: “This really is the X-Factor of kickboxing, someone from the UK is going to get the chance to have their life changed forever. Eduard Irimia (Superkombat President) is confident he will find a new hero fightstar right here in Middlesbrough, life changing contracts have already been won in previous years and to think we could find this person in Middlesbrough is really exciting.”
Any fighter from the UK can apply, each fighter will be judged on 3 stages…
1. Fighter and coach display a 3-min pad work session.
2. Fighters will have their punch and kick power measured through STRIKE RESEARCH, Fighters will punch and kick a Strike Mate pad that will record their data.
3.fighters will have 3 x 1.30 minuets full contact sparring with opponent from their weight category.
The panel of judges which include Contenders Promotions’ Garry Bell and Superkombat’s Eduard Irimia,will let all winners know on the same night who is through to a New heros event which will be held in the UK at a later date, and screened live across 85 countries, Fighters who are successful on this event get the chance to fight on a Superkombat WGP. This could be for CONTRACT or a LIFE CHANGING AMOUNT OF MONEY..
