On February 22nd, 2014, Battle Arena – one of Europe’s leading amateur mixed martial arts promotions, will stage the most anticipated bout in Battle Arena to date when Lewis Gannon takes on experienced kickboxer David Gillan in a rematch for the Battle Arena British Featherweight Championship. Believing he won the original Battle Arena contest, experienced kickboxer David Gillan is determined to seek redemption when he challenges the reigning champion.
Defending champion Lewis Gannon said: “I am looking forward to the title defense in February. The fans will see a different approach to this fight from me, I am working on my striking game I am looking to stand and bang with David. Training is going well at our academy in Leicester, we have a great set up here not just for fighters but also for people that just want to learn self defense and get fit. I have a lot of respect for David, he is a nice guy who always fights hard. I predict this fight will be full of action with neither of us holding back….Boom!”
