Shock N Awe 14 Weigh-in Results

The Shock n Awe 14 weigh-ins have now been completed, but there is bad news for the co-main event bout between Gym 01’s Matt “Short Fuze” Hughes (3-1-0) and Kyouken MMA’s Alexei Roberts. Due to Roberts missing weight by 5.5lbs and Roberts refusal to cut any more weight the fight has been removed from tomorrow’s card.

 

Ironically Roberts younger brother Shay, who was also due to appear on the shows undercard also missed weight by a massive 11lbs resulting in his bout with Gym 01’s Dan Quartermaine (who made weight), also being pulled from the card.

 

Ben Ford from Primitive Gym, who is due to open Shock N Awe 14 tomorrow, missed weight by 5.2lbs. His opponent Ben Colwell from Gym 01, Portsmouth, who weighed in on weight has accepted the fight with the weight difference.

 

All other fighters made weight aside from Chris Ada who has until tomorrow to do so.
