On Sunday, April 16, 2017, the richest prize in karate, the 10K Karate Clash makes its triumphant return at London’s Troxy theater.

Plus Media traveled to the Welsh valley’s to speak top referee Jason Ashcroft’s who gave us his idiots guide to the 10K Karate Clash.

Karate’s biggest 1-night tournament

The 10K Karate Clash is a 1-night tournament made up of 32 of elite fighters fro the United Kingdom and Europe, who have been split into 4 groups of 8 all vying for the winner takes all prize of £10,000.

Tournament rules during the 10K Clash?

The tournament will be held under full World Karate Federation (WKF) rules which will see fighters compete in 3-minute bouts which will see the winner’ s progress to the next round and the loser’s go home penniless.

Fighters will be awarded the following points for landing “controlled” strikes to their opponent: –

  • Head kicks score 3 points 
  • Body kicks score 2 points
  • Punches score 1 point
