GLORY 27 live

GLORY Kickboxing have announced their first show of 2015, with Middleweight Champion Artem Levin (50-4-2, 33 KO) set to defend his title against Simon Marcus (42-2-2, 24 KO) in a rubber match at GLORY 27 on Feb. 26.

GLORY 27 will take place at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ill. and will air live on ESPN networks in the United States of America.

The trilogy fight is hotly anticipated between Levin and Marcus, who fought to a majority draw back at GLORY 21 in May, 2015.

“Neither man was satisfied with the result of their fight in May [of 2015]. Levin thinks he won. Marcus thinks he won. The judges scored it a draw,” said GLORY CEO Jon Franklin. “We’ve set this grudge match for GLORY’s first card of 2016 to put all that to bed. If this fight is anything like the last one, the fans in Chicago are in for an incredible show once again.”

This will be the first time both men step back into a GLORY ring since their eventual meeting in  San Diego. The Russian was set to face popular fighter Joe Schilling at GLORY 24 but sustained an injury which forced him out of the fight.

Also set for GLORY 27, will be a GLORY one-night, four-man North American Middleweight Contender Tournament.

Tickets for GLORY 27 (including access to the GLORY SuperFight Series Chicago) go on sale Monday, Jan. 11 at 10 a.m. CST and are priced at $200, $100, $60 and $35. Tickets will be available for purchase at searscentre.com.
