Badr Hari vs Rico Verhoeven will be in many fans opinion, the biggest fight in kickboxing since, the rematch between the, “Golden Boy” and former K-1, DREAM and Strikeforce champion and current UFC heavyweight contender, Alistair Overeem.

On the Countdown to GLORY: Collision – Rico vs Badr video podcast, both Verhoeven and Hari spoke candidly about their date with destiny at the König Pilsener Arena in Oberhausen, Germany on December 10. However, Badr Hari didn’t pull any punches with his brutally honest opinions on the upcoming collision with the GLORY heavyweight champion:

“In fighting if you don’t survive the first round there is no second round. He will be hit, he will be hit. You only can not hit people who are invisible. He’s not invisible, he’s standing right infront of me. So he will get hit.

“I don’t give a f-ck about him.”

Having walked out of the GLORY Collision press conference without participating in the usual face-off with Verhoeven, the disrespectful and deliberate intentions of Hari has undoubtedly got under the skin of the champion who, isn’t defending his GLORY title on this occasion either.

This clash has all the ingredients to cement Verhoeven’s future legacy as the greatest heavyweight kickboxer of the modern era; especially if strong rumours become true that Rico could be leaving kickboxing for MMA and making the transition in 2017.

Rico vs Badr collide on December 10 in Germany at GLORY Collision which, will also have two supplementary undercard events with, GLORY 36 and the GLORY 36: SuperFight Series fight cards stacked in world kickboxing talent at its finest.
