Contender Promotions; a premier United Kingdom kickboxing promotion, have announced their first event for 2015, which will take place in Bradford, which is sponsored by the Grosvenor Casino and AWM.
International bouts, title bouts, even the possibility of an international tournament has been speculated and local fighters are encouraged to apply for this K-1 style event.
Already confirmed for 2015 is the second season of The Fight Star Hunt, which will emanate from Dublin, Ireland, and Garry Bell has teased two more potential locations for future talent scouts. Also, the February 28th event sees a return to Middlesbrough.
The promotion saw success with their event on November 8, where Angola’s Renaldo Santos, who beat Augin Masoud in the -70kg world grand prix final.
There are also rumoured events in Nottingham and Kent slated for 2015 however it has yet to be officially confirmed.
