Also on the cards a lightweight contender tournament for a shot at Robin van Roosmalen’s 70kg gold. Davit Kiria faces Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong in the first semi-final, and Canada’s Josh Jauncey faces his second replacement opponent Djimè Coulibaly after Crice Boussoukou failed to make weight.
Jamal Ben Saddik’s return headlined the Superfight Series, as he goes up against France’s Freddy Kemayo.
