On Thursday afternoon, GLORY held the weigh-ins for GLORY 44 and the GLORY 44 Superfight Series inside the Grunt Style Headquarters.
In the main event, Cédric Doumbé (67-4-1) will try to defend his GLORY welterweight title for the third time in a rematch against Murthel Groenhart (66-22-3).
The co-main event sees a battle of American welterweights as Richard Abraham (11-5) takes on Daniel Morales (1-3).
In addition to those two bouts, there will be a one-night, four-man “Contender” tournament taking place in the welterweight division. In the first semi-final, Harut Grigorian (44-11) faces Karim Benmansour (48-7-2), with the winner taking on the winner of the second semi-final bout between Antoine Pinto (131-36-1) and Zach Bunnel (5-2).
In the headlining bout of the GLORY 44 SuperFight Series, GLORY super bantamweight champion Tiffany van Soest (17-2-1) puts her belt on the line for the first time since winning it on GLORY: COLLISION, as she takes on promotional newcomer Meryem Uslu (36-10-1).
