The star of GLORY featherweight Tyjani Beztati keeps on rising. ‘The Wonderboy’ beat fourth-ranked Yodkhunpon Sitmonchai in his hometown of Amsterdam at GLORY 45, which was his fourth win under the GLORY banner.

The 19-year-old was happy with his performance, but tells MMA Plus he wanted more: “I’m happy with the W. That’s the most important thing. (…) I wanted to knock him out in front of my own people, but it went to decision. The thing I learned out of this is that I have to keep working and that the knockout comes when it comes. Something to improve on for the next fight.”

Beztati also says he’ll return this year in search for his fifth, and maybe sixth, win in GLORY, ‘probably’ on December 9 in Rotterdam: “I don’t know what GLORY wants. If GLORY says I have to fight in a tournament, I’ll fight a tournament. If it’s another fight, it’s another fight.”
