Yokkao 12 and Yokkao 13 have been officially confirmed. The international muay thai promotion will return to the Macron Stadium, Bolton on Saturday, March 21st, 2015.
This is off the back of Yokkao 10 and 11 taking place in the same venue on October 11, which the company considered a huge success, indicating their return.
The press release on the Yokkao website wrote: “After the success of last October, Yokkao will be back with two events in one night to give the audience another round of an unforgettable show!”
The promoters of the UK Yokkao branch are Stefania Picelli and Brian Calder, who work alongside official distributor in UK and Ireland, Jack are all currently finalizing details. However it has been revealed they are looking to implement a new ranking system for their events going onwards.
The three individuals mentioned above are creating the official UK Yokkao ranking, which will give fighters the opportunity to fight on all their global events. Also, rumoured sponsorship deals are in place for fighters who reach the top level in their divisional ranks.
No fighters or bouts have been announced yet, but expect promotional stand-outs such as Jordan Watson, Liam Harrison and Brad Stanton to feature.
