A welterweight bout has been added, and the lineups for GLORY 42 and the GLORY 42 Superfight Series, which will be taking place at AccorHotels Arena on June 10 in Paris, France, have both been finalized.
In the co-main event, Murthel Groenhart (65-22-3) takes on Harut Grigorian (42-10) in a welterweight contest. This fight was initially booked for the GLORY 41 Superfight Series, but Grigorian had to withdraw due to injury. Groenhart remained on the card and defeated Alan Scheinson. The promotion announced the news on Thursday.
The five-fight main card will be headlined by a welterweight title fight between current champion Cedric Doumbe (66-4-1) and former champion Nieky Holzken (90-12). That fight was announced back in April.
In addition to those two fights, a one-night, four-man “Contender” tournament will be taking place in the lightweight division. In the semi-finals, Niclas Larsen (46-8-2) takes on GLORY newcomer Stoyan Koprivlenski and in the opposing bracket, No.2-ranked Anatoly Moiseev (16-2) will face Christian Baya (57-5-1).

A welterweight bout between No.1-ranked contender Yoann Kongolo (64-9) and Yoahn Lidon (92-35-1) will headline the GLORY 42 Superfight Series. Also on that card, Dylan Salvador, who recently lost to Sittichai Sitsongpeenong in a lightweight title fight, will be dropping down to featherweight to face the No.2-ranked and former GLORY featherweight champion Serhiy Adamchuk (34-8).
