Set for the Ota Gymnasium, KNOCK OUT vol. 1 marks the second event hosted by the Japanese kickboxing banner. This follows on from vol. 0 which took place December 5 in Tokyo and saw Nasukawa emphatically finish Lumpinee standout Wanchalong PKSaenchaigym.
18-year-old Nasukawa enjoyed a successful 2016 in kickboxing, and ended the year with his debut mixed martial arts bouts under the Rizin Fight Federation banner.
Fighting on December 29 and 31 at the Saitama Arena, Tenshin picked up two finishes, claiming a TKO finish over Nikita Sapun at Rizin 3, before submitting Kawika Oligo on New Year’s Eve.
Meanwhile, 37-year-old Ruenroeng has forged a successful career in both Thai and boxing. He competed for the Thailand national team at the 2016 Rio Olympic games, where he made it to the Round of 16 of the Lightweight brackets. Amnat reigned as the IBF Flyweight champion between January 2014 and May 2016.
