Robin van Roosmalen will once again don the four-ounce gloves. The reigning GLORY featherweight champion will main event FFC 30 in Linz, Austria on October 21 against an unnamed opponent.

FFC announced van Roosmalen’s next MMA fight on Tuesday afternoon. FFC officials hinted the Dutchman could get an Austrian foe.

The 27-year-old kickboxing champion will fight in his third pro MMA fight. “Pokerface” won his previous two bouts convincingly by stoppage. In his debut at FFC 22 in February 2016, he took out Athinodoros Michailidis in the second round with a right hook.

Last March the Dutchman booked his second win against Risto Dimitrov by TKO on FFC 28. While Dimitrov laid on the floor, van Roosmalen unloaded with kicks to the Dimitrov’s thigh, better known as ‘FU kicks’ that were made famous by Donald Cerrone at UFC 182to the point that the Macedonian was unable to get up.

Last May, van Roosmalen won back the GLORY featherweight title in his hometown Den Bosch on GLORY 41, when he beat Petpanomrung Kiatmoo9 by majority decision after five rounds.

Four months earlier he had to relinquish that same belt after coming in overweight by eight ounces before his fight with Matt Embree on GLORY 37 in Los Angeles (143.8 lbs.).

Van Roosmalen, a judo black belt, currently resides in Florida to train at the Combat Club, led by countryman Henry Hooft.
