Thomas “The Destroyer” Daniel, one of Middlesbrough, England’s biggest prospects, prepares for his debut on the European stage, as he faces Stefan Szomoru in the New Heroes portion of Superkombat 5th Anniversary show on Saturday 7th March in Romania.
Daniel, who is a brawler who more often than not turns a contest into a dog fight with his destructive approach will make his international debut against Romania’s Szomoru on a card that features European superstars, Benjamin Adegbuyi and Bogdan and Andrei, the Stoica brothers.
Fighting out of Contender Promotions, he has made a name for himself in the North East of England and has proven himself as one of the top -86kg prospects in the country.
Daniel said: “I am ready for this fight 110%. I believe that in life you have to take opportunities as they arise and I have grabbed this with both hands. I never duck any opponent and will fight anybody [in] my weight class, I just love to fight, I was born to do it.
“If Stefan Szomoru wants to go toe to toe and give the fans that fight then they will see a true war. I don’t want any cuddling or clinching, just full on punching, kicks and knees until the last man is standing.
