MMA Plus caught up with former British and Commonwealth boxing champion Derek Chisora during the Bellator 179 press conference to talk about the much-touted rematch with arch-rival Dillian Whyte.
The boxer nicknamed “Del Boy” who also held the European heavyweight title from 2013 to 2014 also had some sound advice for MMA fighters on how to maximise their earning potential as they pursue their career goals.
During the interview, Chisora (26-7) also gave his thoughts on the potential super-fight between Michael “Venom” Page and Paul “Semtex” Daley and why the proposed “All-British” clash between the two Bellator welterweight’s would be good for the sport of Mixed Martial Arts.
The 33-year old also spoke about how he first became a fan of MMA and also gave an insight into what he believes are the key differences between the two combat sports.
