ONE FC: Dynasty of Champions

ONE FC: Dynasty of Champions card has been finalised. The event is set to take place at The Gymnasium of National Olympic Sports Centre in Beijing on Dec. 19 and is headlined by a 135 pound contest between Song Ya Dong and Ji Xian.

Just added to the event, Ariel Sexton faces Willy Ni at lightweight and Michal Pasternak will put his undefeated record on the line when he takes on Portugal’s Rafael Silva. Also, four of the top flyweights in China will also compete in a one-night tournament for the regional 125lb crown.

CEO of ONE FC, Victor Cui, stated: “ONE FC: DYNASTY OF CHAMPIONS is set to be an epic night of world-class mixed martial arts action! Some of the world’s best mixed martial artists will descend on Beijing along with some of the best in China, to put on a night to remember!”

Ariel ‘Tarzan’ Sexton (8-3) is a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu black belt, who has trained since 2001, was born in Canada but now lives in Costa Rica.

A protege of the great striker Melvin Manhoef, Willy Ni started his career with fifteen wins in sixteen bouts and will look to break a seven fight losing streak with a win over Ariel Sexton.

Michal Pasternak (10-0) is a Polish mixed martial artist and holds 30% of his wins by knockout, and 30% by submission.

Rafael Silva (39-14)  is a veteran with more than 50 fights of experience. Silva has notched 21 victories by tapout and will look to return to the green after his loss to Tatsuya Mizuno at ONE FC 11 in 2013.

In the four man tournament, Liu Xu; who has a background in wrestling and undefeated in Sanda, is also a comfortable striker. Wang Wei has trained martial arts since he was 10 years-old, and has judo, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and taekwondo experience. He believes, despite being the oldest in the competition, he makes up for it with more experience having competed in multiple regional and national championships in Judo.

Li Wei Bin, at only 18-years-old is the youngest competitor, with an extensive background in Sanda and Muay Thai. Hao Yi Jie is also proficient in Sanda and Muay Thai and has won regional competitions in those disciplines, but comes from a boxing background.

Fans from around the world can witness the action online via live streaming at Livestream. The event will be available for purchase at just US$9.99.
