The UFC makes its highly anticipated return to the 02 Arena, London on March 18th for UFC Fight Night 107 which is set to be led by a number of Britain’s best.
Welterweight Leon Edwards (12-3 MMA, 4-2 UFC) is one of a number of fighters who has the chance to secure a win in front of his home crowd when he faces off against Vicente Luque (11-5 MMA, 4-1 UFC).
The former BAMMA 170lb champion enters the bout riding a two-fight win streak having won four of his last five outings following his submission victory over Albert Tumenov.
This will be the 25-year olds second consecutive fight in the UK following his appearance at UFC 204 in Manchester, England. This will no doubt prove to be the Englishman’s toughest test to date in the form of rising star Vicente Luque.
Luque will look to make it five straight wins on March 18th; having secured four consecutive stoppage victories in less than a year. The Brazilians impressive recent record contains first round stoppages over the likes of Hector Urbina, Hayder Hassan and Belal Muhammad as he looks to spoil the Brit’s homecoming.
No headliner has been confirmed for UFC Fight Night 107 but MMA Plus will keep updated on any news on this event as we get it.
