(London.23rd September 13) On Saturday 14th September, Cage Warriors and BAMMA both presented events under the governance of Safe MMA. All professional fighters were medically cleared to fight by Safe MMA.
The fighters underwent pre- and post-fight medical examinations at each event. The advised medical suspensions are as follows:
CAGE WARRIORS 59 – MEDICAL SUSPENSIONS 14.9.13
Denniston Sutherland l TKO l 28 days l suspended until at least 13.10.13
Lee Caers l Laceration to forehead l 28 days l suspended until at least 13.10.13
BAMMA 13 – MEDICAL SUSPENSIONS 14.9.13
Curt Warburton l TKO l 28 days l suspended until at least 13.10.13
Jack Marshman l KO l 28 days l suspended until at least 13.10.13
Danny Missin l TKO l 28 days l suspended until at least 13.10.13
Eddy Ellis l Broken jaw l Referral to hospital and to follow advice of examining Doctor
*The medical team operating at BAMMA, Medical Solutions and Dr. Ali, have called for more guidelines from Safe MMA regarding length of suspensions and whose medical liability these fall under.
