Warren Kee vs. Jack Grant has been added to the preliminary card of BAMMA 18 at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall on February 21.

Both fighters will be looking to make a statement with each man coming off a loss in their last contest. Grant (7-2) dropped a unanimous decision to Alexei Roberts at BAMMA 16 in September while Kee (7-3) will be aiming to rectify a current run of three straight losses having now dropped to the lightweight division as former challenger for the BAMMA-Lonsdale British welterweight crown. Warren Kee is one of three fighters who recently signed fresh deals with the British Association of Mixed Martial Arts.

Grant said: “I don’t think BAMMA have had the pleasure of seeing my ‘A’ game. Mistakes made in 2014 and lessons learnt. The dynamic offensive style will be there next year, but behind a much more measured and controlled Jack Grant.

“I’m not going to dwell on my last performance and I ask not to be judged on it! I’m looking forward to fighting anyone that’s put in front of me next year and I can promise that I will show what I’m capable of.”

Kee said: “The fight is signed and Jack Grant is my opponent on BAMMA 18, he looks a good well rounded fighter so I am looking forward to the February 21st showdown, it’s my hand that will be raised in victory on the night.”

BAMMA 18 takes place on Feb.21 at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall headlined by reigning BAMMA world featherweight champion Tom ‘Fire Kid’ Duquesnoy taking on Poland’s Kryzystof Klaczek.
