It has emerged this evening that Bellator MMA president Scott Coker has been spotted in London, fuelling speculation that the announcement of a much talked about debut British show is imminent.

Sources close to the situation today informed MMA PLUS that the founder and former CEO of the now defunct Strikeforce promotion; which was sold to Zuffa, LLC before the two companies where merged under the UFC umbrella; was spotted a few hours ago meeting with representatives from popular UK management and marketing agency Fighters Inc in an undisclosed location in London, England.

Boasting an assortment of top UK talent which includes heavyweight James Thompson, top ranked welterweights Michael “Venom” Page and Paul “Semtex” Daley, as well as representation in their light-heavyweight division which includes Linton “The Swarm” Vassell and Current Bellator light-heavyweight champion Liam McGeary, British fight fans can expect a stacked card full of some of the nation’s best once the official announcement has been made.

Today’s news will undoubtedly lead to increased rumours that the popular promotion are on the brink of announcing a date for their first trip to the UK and with Fighters Inc’s well documented history of working with other established promotions such as GlORY World Series it would seem that the Viacom owned promotion will move one step closer to fulfilling their pledge for a trip across the Atlantic.

MMA PLUS has this evening reached out to representatives from both Bellator MMA and Fighter Inc but have yet to receive a response. We will keep you up to date on this story as it develops.
