Bellator MMA interview their light-heavyweight champion, Liam McGeary, ahead of his 205lb title defence against UFC legend Tito Ortiz on September 19 in San Jose, California, when Bellator and Glory collaborate to present “Dynamite“.
The British born McGeary (10-0), who now fights out of New Jersey, USA, has been on an unstoppable tear since joining the promotion in 2013. Of his seven Bellator victories, six stoppages have been taken in the very first round, and after blowing away his rivals in the 2014 Summer Series Light-Heavyweight Tournament, he captured the championship from Emanuel Newton with a thrilling unanimous decision victory at Bellator 134 on February 27, 2015.
