Josh Koscheck

It’s the gift that keeps on giving.

After much speculation over his future, Josh Koscheck (17-10) becomes the next ‘rival’ talent to jump ship to Bellator MMA.

A member of the original series of The Ultimate Fighter, Bellator MMA announced the signing of Koscheck during Bellator 139.

Koscheck, 37, has lost his last five fights in the UFC, struggling to regain the consistency that helped garner him a championship opportunity against Georges St-Pierre in 2010.

Despite falling short to GSP, Kos holds impressive wins over: Frank Trigg, Matt Hughes, as well as current Bellator fighter, Paul “Semtex” Daley (36–13–2).

Back in 2010 at UFC 113, Kos and ‘Semtex’ shared one of the most controversial moments in UFC history.

After frustrating Daley during the fight, including what some assumed as Koscheck faking an eye poke, the British fighter retaliated after the bell with a sucker-punch.

Obviously, the rest is history, and Daley would then be extradited from the UFC.

Fast forward more than five years, and it looks like the much-anticipated grudge match could be on.

Following the announcement, both men took to their social media accounts to hint at the possible grudge match, and let’s be honest, it’s definitely an intriguing fight.

Obviously Daley must overcome Dennis Olson at Bellator 140, July 17, and his debut in GLORY for Bellator: DYNAMITE in September is another potential road block.

He’s started already. Like how he put this picture up. Didn’t finish the choke though. Didn’t mention the fake eye poke,…
