“Venom” set to strike in London
Page’s fight confirmation comes after a tense press conference alongside Paul “Semtex” Daley last week in South Kensington, where Bellator President Scott Coker announced the Brit would face the debuting Rory MacDonald in a welterweight title eliminator.
Despite Page’s thirst for a fight with Daley – which Coker admitted could happen before the end of 2017 – the man who has won eight straight in Bellator will face a very game foe in London.
26-year-old Anderson fought in the fight of the night against Derek Campos at Bellator 170 but came up short, dropping a unanimous decision in spite of a courageous effort.
It’s safe to say the match-up will be a step up from Page’s last fight over Fernando Gonzalez, but leaves questions over Bellator’s somewhat inconsistent booking of their next potential star.
