Cage Warriors, the UK promotion on the rise, has strengthened its roster with an announcement of twelve new signings on March 9th and will see a tremendous addition of talent up and down the divisions.

Of these new signings, six lightweights were added, meaning a serious amount of depth has been added to the 155lb division.

  • Aleksi Mantykivi (10-4)
  • Ellis Hampson (6-3-1)
  • Alexander Jacobsen (7-1)

Other inclusions are bantamweights Gavin Kelly (8-3) who makes his return to the Cage Warriors promotion and Brian Bouand (5-1). Welterweights Dylan McLoughlin (3-0) and Craig White (11-4), light heavyweight Norman Paraisy (15-4-2-1NC) and unbeaten heavyweight Shawn Kenny (2-0) have also signed on the dotted line.

Cage Warriors president “delighted” with new signings

Cage Warriors president Graham Boylan expressed his glee with the new signings saying, “I’m delighted to welcome this exciting crop of fighters to the Cage Warriors family”.

“We’re a handful of events into our biggest year ever and bringing these talented fighters onto our roster helps give our matchmaker Ian Dean even more options as we look to deliver exciting fights and spectacular events for our fans”.

One of the additions to look out for is none other than Alexander “Bad Romance” Jacobsen. After losing on his professional debut, the Norwegian has gone on to win all seven of his fights, all inside the distance. Not only does he add quality to the lightweight division, he adds excitement.

At just 24 years old, fellow Scandinavian Soren Bak is one of Europe’s hottest mixed-martial arts prospects. With a loss in his last fight, the Dane will be looking to get back to winning ways.

Though an unknown quantity, Dylan McLoughlin is a fighter on the names of fans’ lips, fighting out of Next Generation MMA Liverpool, the youngster has won all three of his professional bouts inside the scheduled distance with his last two victories coming in the first round.
