Ireland’s Paul Redmond (14-6) returns to the KSW arena on June 9th and will face rising Polish prospect Gracjan Szadzinski (7-2) at KSW 44 in Gdansk, Poland.

The Team Ryano product made a successful debut for the promotion in his hometown of Dublin last October defeating durable veteran Lukasz Chlewicki on points. The 31-year-old rose to prominence following a 7-1 run in the Cage Warriors promotion before being snapped up by the UFC on short notice. After two tough fights there he returned the European scene and has been on flying form scoring big wins in BAMMA and Bellator as well as his KSW debut.

With Redmond in such great form and given his fight resume, this fight provides Szadzinski with the biggest opportunity of his career, a chance to register a win over one of the top lightweights in Europe.

With two appearances already in KSW, Szadzinski comes into this contest with a fierce reputation of finishing his opponents. The lightweight has five TKO/KO finishes to his name including two first-round wins his past two fights, his latest being over the previously undefeated Maciej Kazieczko at KSW 41 in December.
