Joe Lauzon (24-9) is out of his scheduled clash with Diego Sanchez (25-7) at UFC 180 according to MMAJunkie.

At the time of writing the reason for the pull-out is still unknown and the UFC have yet to officially confirm the Bridgewater, Massachusetts natives withdrawal from the bout but sources close to the situation have confirmed that Lauzon his is out the clash with TUF season 1 winner Sanchez.

For Sanchez this is the second pull-out in a row with the Nightmares previous opponent, Northern Ireland’s Norman Parke having to pull out through injury and it is not yet know if the UFC have found another replacement for the Jackson-Wink trained lightweight.
