October 21st, 2014 – The leaders in Mixed Martial Arts sports entertainment, BAMMA, is proud to announce a Middleweight bout for BAMMA 17 which will feature Lee ‘The Butcher’ Chadwick Vs. Conor ‘Da Crook’ Cook & Jack McGann signs a long term deal with the organisation and will face off against Kayvan Fallah in a Lightweight bout at the Victoria Warehouse, Manchester on 6th December. 

Lee ‘The Butcher Chadwick vs. Conor ‘Da Crook’ Cooke (Middleweight)

Lee ‘The Butcher’ Chadwick, holds a record of 19-11-1 with 13 first round victories; and fights out of Atherton Submission Wrestling. Chadwick first appeared under the BAMMA Banner at BAMMA Fight Night Liverpool: Pascu Vs. Chadwick, where he lost a close decision to Ion Pascu in the events top line fight.

Chadwick had this to say: “I’m looking for blood in this fight! KO/TKO/submission or a bloody battle!!”

Conor ‘Da Crook’ Cooke trains out of the Next Generation Northern Ireland Gym and currently holds a record of 5-5 with all his wins coming via T/KO.  Cooke was originally slated to appear at BAMMA Fight Night: Pascu vs. Chadwick against Andy DeVent but had to withdraw due to injury.  He now faces Chadwick and had the following to say on his upcoming bout:

“This is a great opportunity for me to showcase my skills on one of the U.K.’s largest promotions.  I’m really excited about fighting for BAMMA. It’s been one of my long time ambitions in MMA & I promise to put on a great show. I have a very tough opponent in Lee Chadwick which will only bring out the best in me & get me one step closer to getting that UK middleweight title.”

Jack McGann vs. Kayvan Fallah (Lightweight)

Jack McGann currently holds a 6-0 record and fights out of the world famous Wolfslair Gym under the tutelage of his father and founder of Wolfslair, Anthony McGann.  McGann has signed a 18 month multi fight contract with the promotion and had the following to say about his debut:

“I would like to thank Kayvan for giving me the opportunity to fight him, he will be by far my toughest test yet. In my 6 fights to date I have finished fairly quickly in all of them, so I am hoping to do the same in Manchester on the 6th December.”

Kayvan Fallah drops to Lightweight for the first time as he takes on Jack McGann, fighting out of the Ludus Magnus Gym and is currently on a 3 fight win streak, with a collective record of 5-1.  Kayvan had the following to say about the upcoming bout:

“I’m really grateful to BAMMA for the opportunity & Im looking forward to showcasing my skills against a tough opponent.  It’s my first fight at 70kg, my training camp at Ludus Magnus is going really well & I’m feeling strong. I’m looking to do the business & get back on BAMMA early 2015.”
