Full Contact Contender are proud to announce the homecoming of Manchester’s . The Bellator MMA fighter returns to the UK for a one-off appearance before heading back stateside later this year. Stapleton will headline FCC 10 on June 21st at the Bolton Reebok, facing Bulgaria’s Stanislav Enchev.
Stapleton returns to the FCC cage for the first time since June 2012, when he defeated Shah Hussain in the promotion’s first ever professional contest. Stapleton secured a second round submission victory that evening following a lengthy break from the sport, before winning the FightStar tournament and signing with Bellator MMA.
Following two tough fights in Bellator, FCC have secured Stapleton’s services on a loan basis for FCC 10.

Stapes has had two very tough fights in the US in 2013, and really wanted to compete in front of his home town fans before heading back out later this year. Of course when the opportunity came up, we were delighted to host Martin’s homecoming. We’re always happy to have fighters from FCPC on our cards, so having their coach on as well is double the fun!”

FCC has grown so much over the last two and a half years; it’s now catching up with the likes of BAMMA and Cage Warriors and the fact that its 20 minutes from my home means the home support is uplifting! Stanislav Enchev is a former featherweight fighting out of Ruse, Bulgaria. A durable competitor, of his seven losses he has only been finished twice; a heel-hook submission to Greek prospect Giorgos Paschalidis and via rear-naked choke to FCC 9 headliner Sotir Kichukov. All of his five wins have come within the distance, with four TKO’s and a single submission on his ledger.
Like Stapleton, Enchev is riding a two-fight losing streak into the contest, and will be looking to reverse his fortunes while causing a massive upset.
