ONE Championship has today added two exciting bouts to their return to the Singapore Indoor Stadium, in Singapore later this month when they return with ONE Championship: Dynasty of Heroes.
In a flyweight showdown, Geje “Gravity” Eustaquio, one of the top wushu practitioners in the Philippines, is set to take on Anatpong Bunrad in a highly anticipated rematch.
Eustaquio (8-5) has used his solid striking and grappling to build a respectable record of 4-4, besting the likes of Kentaro Watanabe, Saiful Merican and Gianni Subba during his time competing for the top Asian promotion.
Entering this encounter, the man known as “Gravity” will be looking to gain a measure of revenge against his upcoming opponent Anatpong Bunrad who he suffered a split decision loss to at ONE Championship 26 in April 2015.
Ultra-talented striker Bunrad (5-2) makes his return to action after 17 months out at Dynasty Of Heroes following a split decision defeat to Gianni Subba at ONE Championship 35 in his last outing.
Before that setback, the 30-year-old who fights out of the world-famous Phuket Top Team had racked up a hat-trick of wins against Maxime Desse, Marc Marcellinus and his Dynasty Of Heroes opponent in an epic clash that now sets up their rematch.
The second bout added to the card will see the unbeaten Chen “Rock Man” Lei face off against Jeremy “Predator” Meciaz in a catchweight encounter that has been added to the preliminary portion of the card.
Fighting out of Changsha, Lei is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu practitioner who recently claimed gold at the Shanghai BJJ Open. His grappling ability has led to the 28-year-old claiming four straight victories as a professional martial artist.
Chen’s opponent, 25-year-old Indonesian National Grappling Champion Jeremy Meciaz, will be making his professional debut and will be looking to get his career off to the perfect start when he enters the cage at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
ONE Dynasty Of Heroes goes down on Friday, May 26, 2017, and features a main event between reigning atomweight champion Angela Lee, who makes her second title defense, and Brazilian challenger Istela Nunes.
