Sokoudjou

Mixed Martial Arts veteran Sokoudjou will headline the Abu Dhabi Warriors 3 event on October 3 at the IPIC Arena, in a Heavyweight clash against Paul Buentello.

31-year-old Sokoudjou (16-3) made a name for himself in MMA very early on in his career when he fought under the PRIDE Fighting Championship banner. The Cameroonian would amass huge knockout wins over Antônio Rogério Nogueira and Ricardo Arona.

Most recently he competed at Bellator 134, and lost to British Light-Heavyweight Linton Vassell.

Meanwhile, UFC and Strikeforce-vet Buentello (33-16) will fight his 50th career match-up and returns to Heavyweight after a brief stint at 205lbs.

The event is set to be a monumental show for the promotion, with free entrance for the public, and the inclusion of some top talents such as Alexander ”The Tiger” Sarnavskiy, Karl Amoussou, Max Nunes, and Brit Lewis Long.
