In a statement released by the UFC, it was revealed that featherweight contender Robbie Peralta has been suspended for 6-months, having tested positive for marijuana following the UFC on Fuel TV 9 post-fight drug test.

In response, Peralta (16-4-1NC) has agreed to attend drug rehab classes along with another drug test, in order to be reinstated by the promotion following the completion of his suspension.

On April 6th, at UFC on Fuel TV in Stockholm, Sweden, Peralta’s 10-fight undefeated streak was ended by Sweden’s Akira Corassani via unanimous decision, in what turned out to be one of the night’s highlight bouts.
