18 March 2014 – Manchester, England: The Main Event have done it again with tonight’s announcement that one of the rising stars with the UK Muay Thai/Kickboxing will take on one of the UK best and with the added bonus of having a title on the line.
Highly regarded prospect Sam Jackson (12-1) who fights out of Super gym in Knutsford will have his first shot at a British title when he takes on the vastly experienced UK number 12 John Kaufman who fights out of Fortitudo in Liverpool.
Kaufman has been around a long time and is coming off the back of an eye-catching performance against hard-hitting Alex Bublea in February. He has over 25 fights experience and will prove to be a stern test for Jackson, who won his last fight against Dale Hughes on points to jump in the rankings at 10th position
