Not only have we potentially seen the last of former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre, but the same could now be said for popular pre-fight build up series UFC Primetime. Usually a 2-3 part special reserved for the UFC’s most anticipated clashes, the show is now also on hiatus due to low ratings since moving from Spike TV to the Fox network.

It’s reported that following UFC on Fox 9 this past weekend, UFC president Dana White expalined the decision to members of the media. The costly, yet masterfully produced show is said to have dropped from well over one-million viewers on Spike TV, to 150,000 if not less when aired on Fox.
