The Ultimate Fighting Championship has today confirmed that a Featherweight clash between Makwan “Mr Finland” Amirkhani and Arnold “Almighty” Allen has been added to UFC Fight Night 107 this March.
Amirkhani (13-2) will make his return to action after a year on the sidelines when he enters London’s o2 Arena.
The 28-year old will look to build upon a perfect start to life competing for the UFC which has seen him rack up 3 wins on the bounce against Andy Ogle, Masio Fullen and Mike Wilkinson in his last outing at UFC Fight Night 84.
If Mr Finland can secure his 4th successive win on March 18th, the Turku native will make it a hat-trick of wins over British opposition since signing for the WME-IMG owned promotion.
Allen (11-1) will also enter UFC octagon looking to continue his unbeaten start competing in the 145lbs division.
The 23-year old who trains out of BBK Fighter/Tri-Star Gym made his promotional debut as a late replacement in May 2015 against Alan Omar where after a slow start “Almighty” submitted his opponent in the final round.
In his second appearance, the talented youngster would secure a unanimous decision with Yaotzin Meza at UFC Fight Night 84 and will look to become the first Brit to defeat the former Finish wrestling champion.
UFC London will take place at The O2 Arena in London, England on March 18 so stay tuned to MMA Plus for all the latest news, gossip and announcements surrounding the event.
