AT LAST! Top UK welterweight ‘Judo’ Jim Wallhead (29-9) will makes his long awaited and in the eyes of many long overdue UFC debut.
32 year old Wallhead who was once famously told after wowing judges during the Ultimate Fighter season 9 selection stage that he was “too experienced for the show” will meet Germany’s Jessin Ayari at UFC Fight Night 93 on September, 3rd 2016.
Romurs have been swirling for the last few days that the Loughborough based fighter who is currently riding a 4-fight win streak was set to sign for the worlds No.1 mixed martial arts promotion but the news was was confirmed by the Sun’s MMA reporter Simon Head this morning.
Today’s news will see the London Shootfighters trained welterweight added to a fight card that play’s host to a main event that sees former UFC heavyweight champions Andrei Arlovski and Josh Barnett go to war and will also feature fellow Brits Scott Askham and Brad Pickett.
