It seems UFC Bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes can do no wrong this year however Cat Zingano disagrees and has taken to Twitter to speak her mind.

Far from impressed with the way Nunes has conducted herself since her win over Ronda Rousey at UFC 207, Zingano made it clear she had took notice of the ‘disrespect’ the Brazilian has shown towards her fellow American.

Nunes has not been shy in telling anyone that would listen in the build-up to the fight that she’s always “known (she) would beat Rousey” and has since said in an interview with TMZ Sports that she doesn’t understand how Ronda managed to build a 6-0 record in the UFC.

The champion and “Alpha” are certainly not strangers having previously faced off at UFC 178 in September 2014. In that encounter, Zingano would come out on top with a third round TKO stoppage after cutting Nunes badly with hard elbows.

Its also not the first time the Bantamweights have become involved in a Twitter spat when they became involved in a war of words shortly after Nunes defeated Miesha Tate at UFC 200 to win the belt.

Zingano has lost both her fights since the win over the Brazilian whereas Nunes is currently enjoying a particularly successful run of form with five consecutive wins becoming the first openly gay UFC champion in the process.
