The Ultimate Fighting Championship have this evening announced a featherweight match-up between Darren Elkins (18-4) and Hacran Dias (21-3-1) which will go down at UFC Fight Night 58.
American Elkins rebounded from a unanimous decision loss to Jeremy Stephens at UFC on Fox 10 to score a split decision victory over Lucas Martins at UFC 179 last month in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
His opponent Dias who fights out of famed Brazilian fight team Nova Uniao is looking to halt a 2-fight slide which has seen him lose to Nik Lentz and Ricardo Lamas, both by unanimous decision. Prior to these back-to-back losses the 30-year old had been undefeated in 9-fight stretching back to 2009 and will look to get back to winning way against Elkins.
UFC Fight Night 58 takes place at the Jose Correa gymnasium in Barueri, Brazil on December 20th, 2014.
