UFC officials have today announced a featherweight bout between Diego Brandao and Jimy Hettes which will go down at UFC 183.
TUF season 14 winner Brandao (18-10) will enter the octagon looking to halt a 2-fight slide which has seen the 27-year old suffer TKO losses to Dustin Poirer at UFC 168 and Conor McGregor in UFC Dublin this past May.
After a bright start to his UFC career which has seen Hettes (11-2) defeat Alex Caceres and Nama Phan, “The Kid” has been on a patchy run of late culminating in a TKO loss to Dennis Bermudez at UFC 171.
Diego Brandao vs. Jimy Hettes is set to be added to the undercard of UFC 183 which takes place in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 31st 2015 and is headlined by the long awaited returns of Anderson Silva and Stockton bad boy Nick Diaz.
