The UFC has today confirmed that a mouthwatering clash between No.10 ranked welterweight  Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and undefeated Brit Darren Till to headline UFC Fight Night 118.

The fight which will be held over five rounds was confirmed by the UFC on Friday morning, following initial reports from MMAUno. The event will mark the WME-IMG owned promotion’s second visit to Poland, as they embark to the Ergo Arena in Gdańsk on Saturday, October 21.

The fight will see one of the true veterans of the sport, Cerrone (32-8) who has earned a reputation for his explosive fighting style as well as his willingness to fight anyone, anytime, anywhere.

During his impressive run inside the octagon, Cowboy has racked up wins over such fighters as former lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez and Matt Brown, Cerrone is now entering the Octagon to once again prove that he belongs in the top of the welterweight division.

Standing across from the experienced American on the night will be red hot scouser Till (15-0-1) who is a former Muay Thai fighter will be making his fourth Octagon appearance when he faces the Jackson-Wink MMA trained fighter.

When he steps inside the cage the 24-year-old will look to build upon a dominant win against Bojan Velickovic at UFC Fight Night 115 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, and the rising Brit is wasting no time in his bid to enter the rankings as he prepares for the most important fight in his career.

What he’s got in power, I’ve got 10 times over. It doesn’t worry me,” Till said to the UFC’s PR. “He’s going to throw a few punches and then realise that he can’t stand with me so he’ll try to take me down but it just isn’t going to happen. I am coming in there to just blast him. I will stop him and it will be in round one.

“It’s going to be great fighting in Poland and to have the fans’ support. You can definitely expect the Scousers to be there in Poland! I’m grateful for the support and it’s an honour to headline the event.”
