A featherweight match-up between Charles Rosa (9-1) and Sean Soriano (8-2) is rumoured to be set for t UFC Fight Night 59 card this January.
28-year old Rosa entered the UFC as a late replacement to face Dennis Siver at UFC Fight Night 56 after the Swedish MMA federation refused to section Siver’s previously scheduled fight with France’s Taylor Lapilus. Unfortunately for the American Top Team trained fighter despite putting on an impressive display he would come up short in a thriller encounter, losing the bout by unanimous decision.
Like his opponent, Sean Soriano entered the UFC following an undefeated start to his mixed martial arts career after winning his first 8-fights. Unfortunately for the Blackzilians trained 25-year old he would suffer back-to-back losses against Tatsuya Kawajiri and more recently Chas Skelly at UFC Fight Night 50 this past September. Both fighter’s will look to get back to winning way’s when they meet inside the octagon.
UFC Fight Night 59 will be held at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts on 18th January 2015.
