One of the most highly touted talents in the UFC has again expressed his desire to face Cain VelasquezFrancis Ngannou (9-1) has sent shockwaves through the heavyweight division with his latest victim being veteran Andrei Arlovski

At just 30 years of age with only five UFC fights to his name, Ngannou has already established himself as one of the best in the division.

After the devastating knockout of the Belarusian, “The Predator” was quick to talk about the possibility of facing Cain, insisting: “I talk a lot about Junior Dos Santos and Alistair Overeem but I just talk about them because I think that Cain Velasquez is injured. If he’s in the game, I’m ready for him. He is the next one I would like to fight.”

A fight between the Parisian and Californian seems an exciting prospect and with Ngannou looking to bolster his ranking with the UFC, a fight with the number two contender would see the Frenchman inching closer towards a title shot.

A video by TMZ Sport has today circulated of Ngannou insisting the Velasquez fight is still one he wants to happen.

This time however, the European giant explained why he desires a rematch with the heavyweight great, claiming: “to have success you need to fight successful fighters.”

It would seem that the experience and success of Velasquez doesn’t faze the MMA Factory athlete and should he get his wish and be crowned victor, we could see a title shot for the 30-year-old towards the end of the year.
