Ian McCall has a new opponent for UFC 208 which takes place in Brooklyn, New York and comes in the form of UFC newcomer Jarred Brooks.

This news comes after McCall’s (13-5-1) previous opponent Neil Seery withdrew from their twice scheduled bout last night due to the passing of his mother in law.

UFC debutant Brooks (11-0) will look to extend the 11-fight unbeaten start to his professional career when he meets “Uncle Creepy” whilst notching his first win under the UFC banner.

‘The Monkey God’ has finished his last three fights within two rounds whilst competing for a number of smaller promotions and in his most recent victory he knocked out Jun Nakamura at Pancrease 281 last October.

McCall (13-5-1) will be hoping it is lucky number 5 as his previous 4 scheduled fight against Dustin Ortiz, Justin Scoggins, Ray Borg and now Seery twice have all fallen through.

The 32-year old will be looking to spoil Brooks’ welcome party and will hope to secure his first win since his unanimous decision victory over Brad Pickett back in 2014.
