As the anticipation continues to build on the road to UFC 187 and the light-heavyweight championship bout between reigning king Jon ‘Bones’ Jones and no.1 contender Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson, the 205lb duo successfully fooled UFC president Dana White this past Saturday with a staged brawl at the promotional ‘Welcome to the Show’ media conference.

As the fighters faced off for the cameras, Jones and Johnson kicked off a physical altercation, and parodied the infamous media brawl that took place between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier in the lead up to their eagerly anticipated clash on January 3.

Jones (21-1) completed his eighth title defence with an impressive unanimous decision victory over Cormier, and is now set to face the revitalized juggernaut, Anthony Johnson (19-4), who secured a shot at the gold with his first round destruction of top contender Alexander Gustafsson on January 24.

With a dual headline of Jones vs. Johnson in addition to Chris Weidman vs. Vitor Belfort for the UFC middleweight championship, UFC 187 takes place on May 23 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
