Leites

Thales Leites and Tim Boetsch will clash in a middleweight contest at UFC 183, in Las Vegas, Jan. 31, which is headline by the Anderson Silva vs Nate Diaz superfight.

The UFC made the announcement today, Oct. 29, that Leites #11 and Boetsch #13 will face off in Vegas, however a venue has yet to be confirmed.

Leites (24-4), makes his way to Vegas on a verry impressive seven-fight winning streak, and since his return to the UFC August last year, he has amassed a 4-0 record. With wins over Tom Watson, Ed Herman, the Brazilian’s latest win came over Francis Carmont at Fight Night 49, knocking out the Frenchman after 20 seconds of the second round.

AMC Pankration’s Boetsch, 33, went 4-0 when he dropped down to Middleweight, Boetsch looked a true contender, however since his loss to Costas Philippou at UFC 155, he went 2-2 in his next bouts, which includes a win over CB Dollaway. He is most recently coming off a huge comeback technical knockout win over Brad Tavares at UFC Fight Night 47.
